Where Has The Time Gone?

It’s been a long journey, but my children are now both finished with elementary school and on to the adventures of middle school! Suddenly, i find myself with more time on my hands, as I am no longer a PTA Mom, but a working Mom with kids in middle school. I’m stoked! I am looking…

Alligator’s Friends is Almost Here!

To say I have been busy for the past few months is an understatement! I have been keeping up with the kids, my PTA duties, a NEW JOB, and finishing my children’s book, Alligator’s Friends. Now, all of the artwork has been completed, scanned, and gone through the layout process. The book is set to…

The Process of Technical Writing

As with any form of writing, the intended audience must be considered. What is the background of this audience? Will they understand the terminology presented with findings? What will they already know about the topic? These are questions to consider in the initial planning of your research. NaNoWriMo Time!

It’s November, and that means that, in addition to keeping up with my regularly scheduled tasks, I will also be trying to keep up a daily word count for NaNoWri Mo. I have always felt that this event would serve everyone better if it took place in January, but I stick with it anyway. This…

Post-I-Con!

I-Con 29 went swimmingly well! It was great to be back, and for the convention to be back on the Stonybrook campus! I saw old friends, made new ones, and had an excellent time! My first panel was on Women in Gaming, and we had an excellent group of panelists as well as a bright…
